Originating while I was grounded and bored, and after some events which made me rather cynical, 4 boxes is just a little news site I update every week. Stuff here is of SOME interest, so read a bit and enjoy. If anybody has any bandwidth they wanna give me (and I have no idea why they would) mail me at [email protected]. Aside from that, there's nothing much else to say. The idea for 4 boxes was concieved Friday, Dec 18 1998, and the first issue was released Sunday, Dec 20 1998.

Also, the name is a reference to xmas (4 boxes, 1 lump of coal each), and in that serves as an extended metaphor of the world today. That is, a world populated with token achievements and everyone-gets-a-ribbon-for-trying.
